1,127 residents safely evacuated amid floods in Jiangxi #worldnow

#Rescuers in east China's #Jiangxi Province evacuated 1,127 people after Typhoon #Saudel's remnants triggered severe flooding in Taihe County.

Rising river levels and extensive water logging hit the area on September 4. Local teams deployed rubber boats for door-to-door searches, using makeshift ladders to rescue elderly residents trapped in their homes.

More than 12,000 staff worked around the clock to save lives – with zero casualties reported.
