Severe Weather | North West raises readiness as storms approach

The North West Provincial Disaster Management Centre is on high alert, as severe weather threatens parts of the province and other areas this weekend.

The South African Weather Service has warned of severe thunderstorms over parts of the North West, Free State and Gauteng until this evening, with heavy rain, strong winds, excessive lightning and hail expected.
