Five suspected robbers arrested in Bungoma County

Five suspected robbers have been arrested following a robbery incident in the outskirts of Bungoma town in Bungoma County. The sub-county police commander, William Letting, says the officers, acting on a tip-off from members of the public, moved swiftly and intercepted the robbers who were trying to escape with assorted items. Letting urged residents to cooperate with security officers in enhancing community policing to stamp out criminal activities in the area. The suspects shall be arraigned in court on Monday, with investigations ongoing
