Constitution Hill Exhibition: Brave Beauties makes one radical correction

'Brave Beauties: Stories of Identity, Visibility & Courage' is an exhibition by Prof. Zanele Muholi.

Curated by Yaya Mavundla, the project has been gathering family and sitting with transgender women and gender-nonconforming South Africans, not to capture them, but to keep them.

The showcase opened on Women's Month, and it will end on Heritage Day, making the quiet, radical correction: a woman is who says she is.
