I doubt he has an "enormous amount of sympathy" for the three children who were murdered by Lindsay Clancy. Did he ever speak out when fathers murdered their children? Chris Watts, Chris Coleman, Cameron Brown? All of these men killed their children for financial reasons and/or because they were having an adulterous affair and wanted to be rid of their existing family. Oh, and let's not forget Chad Doerman and Matthew Schleier, who supposedly had mental health reasons. Chad Doerman chased down and slaughtered his three sons. But no men came out and watched the Doerman and Schleleir trials with as great intensity as they are watching the Lindsay Clancy trial now.

I had a friend who confided in me. Her dad had major PTSD. From the war. She said when she was five her dad took her and her sister out on a boat and It came to her that her dad was thinking about killing them. She kept calm. And time passed. Later he arranged for a couple to take them. But her sister didn't want to live with them. And time passed. Eventually the dad had night terrors. One night while the children were in bed the mom was watching TV and the dad went into a rage and through a hammer into the TV. She was terrified and began sleeping with a knife. Not long after that she was sitting at the counter reading a book and the dad came up behind her and slammed her in the temple and knocked her onto the floor. He screamed at her why aren't you doing the washing. She was too young to know how to work the washing machine. She managed to get it started and threw clothes into it And the dad left. The mother was at work. But soon after that the mother called the children together and said she was divorcing the dad. She was crying. But the kids told her it was all right. And so the dad left the home and moved out of state. My friend said that she did not know it but she felt guilty. But a couple of years later when she was distraught she said it was not her fault. And something happened. She felt like chains fell off her and freed her right then. I was shocked to hear what she had been through as a child. And that she had been afraid to tell anyone because they would think less of her. I think that tormented parents have no right to inflict pain upon their children. No matter what. I have no sympathy for them. They cannot be allowed to exist in our society. Over the years many people have confided in being abused physically and sexually by a parent or a family member. I would never have suspected that they had been deeply wounded. I have come to the conclusion that if someone wounds someone else so deeply That they must be incarcerated for the rest of their lives or eliminated. Anything else is toleration and toleration is completely unacceptable.

When I read that her husband left town, divorced her, remarried a doctor within a year, I am interested in finding out about this husband. There are recordings of her asking her mother for help and that she had been asking the medical community for help. Surely her husband realized she needed help, so WHY would he leave her with the children alone, very late at night to get "a few items"??? And then she "jumped out of a window? Your partially correct senator.<br><br>The presiding Judge should have ordered initially, when Lindsey Clancy was indicted, the Judge should have used the basic Rule of law moving towards a criminal trial.<br><br>And that is a competency exam by a Court appointed Criminal Psychiatrist to conduct a psychological test in order to form an opinion to the Judge if the defendant is mentally capable to know the difference between Right and Wrong.<br><br>And that point the Presiding Judge Needs to determine based on the mentality exam to determine if the competency exam reveals that the defendant is not fit to stand trial and to face the charges of murdering the deceased by the defendant.<br><br>Then the Judge must order the defendant to be held in a mentally challenged institution to get the treatment and be determined by a Psychiatrist and either be recommended to stand trial or be institutionalized indefinitely.<br>That would be sufficient as a life sentence as the final judgement by the criminal Court decision.
