Coega Special Economic Zone potential location for science & innovation park

The Minister of Science, Technology and Innovation, Dr Blade Nzimande, says his department has identified the Coega Special Economic Zone in Gqeberha in the Eastern Cape as a potential location for a science and innovation park.

Nzimande visited Coega on Friday and noted that it is a platform for driving South Africa's next phase of innovation-led industrialisation. He says the park will signal a new era of collaboration between government, industry, research institutions and academia.
