Court questions Section 89 charges

Judges presiding over the judicial review application for the Section 89 Independent Panel Report, have questioned the link between the US dollars stashed in President Cyril Ramaphosa's couch, and the 4 charges against him.

Legal counsel for the respondents opposing the review, say the entire matter revolves around the $580 000 stolen from Ramaphosa's farm in 2020. But one question from the bench is whether the charges were drafted correctly.
