Lucky me. My perimenopause has been the biggest blessing for me. I am back to feeling normal again. This whole time I’ve been “fertile” nothing made sense. Now I am calmer, focused, and in control, but I wish my skin would catch up.

Calcium!!!! They didn't mention osteoporosis can begin at this point due hormone changes, it absorbs it differently and that you definitely need to increase intake to double what is recommended. PLEASE TALK to your dr. I wish she had mentioned this because so many women learn it too late to prevent it.
Menopause affects MANY different things. Hormones changes affect bone health!!

I'm going through it now at 35 (history of early menopause in my family) and honestly it's complete bunk that I have to deal with hot flashes and night sweats on top of a period 😑 I demand compensation......
@n.l.vannstallings4664
Bioidentical hormone cream that you rub on your arms at night. Just a little dab. High in progesterone with just a drop of estrogen and testosterone will help quite a bit. The earliest reports saying this could increase risk of cancer is not really accurate according to how several female gynecologist explained it to me. I’ve never had any problems and I’ve been on it since 2015.

Well if menopause was a male problem there would be a pill and probably a spa for them by now, until a cure was found.

The "EKG Clock" is a Myth: No woman’s body naturally operates like a perfectly timed machine. I saw her on Instagram equating a normal, healthy 7-day variation to a "perimenopausal pause" or immediate hormonal chaos which ignores basic biological variation.

My peri started probably at 39, maybe 40. It was very slight. By 44 I was diagnosed with ADHD and started Adderall - GAME CHANGER. Then I hit 46 and started HRT - ANOTHER GAME CHANGER! Finding the right Dr that believes you - AND has studied and taken legitimate medical classes on the science of menopause - is critical.

I went though menopause, fully, by age 37. My FSH (what the pituitary gland sens out to tell the ovaries to ovulate, the "signal" that she was talking about) was SO high, it couldn't be measured by the test; it just said "over 200." Like 5 doctors, who together had nearly 200 years of practice, said they'd never even heard of it getting so high, even in cases if FSH releasing pituitary*tumors,* which I did not have. I went from peri to post menopausal in about 3 years, losing 80% of my hair and having nigh sweats so bad I had to sleep next to a PILE of extra clothes and sheets, requiring showers most nights. And that's just my obvious symptoms- there were a lot more, many of which I think destroyed the relationship I had at the time. The doctor who tested my FSH did it on a whim! I almost didn't get diagnosed. My egg reserve was 0 at age 37. But premature ovarian failure (well, it's called insufficiency now, but in my case I think failure is the right term!) is pretty common (about 1% of women will finish menopause before age 40, with 1% of those women before age 30). We need to talk about this stuff openly! And we need way, way more education.

When the whole thing of Karen’s started, I came to the conclusion that the majority of them are probably menopausal. Look at their ages- most of them in their 40’s, it’s probably their hormones. Yes, they shouldn’t be doing whatever it is they’re doing, and I know menopause is no excuse for those racist Karen’s, but I think most of them wouldn’t act out if their hormones had been normal. It’d be interesting to study the hormone levels at the time of the incident 😅
