‘My responsibility was to save others’: Hero foreman rescued from tunnel in Nepal after 9 days

He stayed to warn others in the face of disaster and survived. "It was not right for me to run away, my responsibility was to save others," said Sanjay Sah, a foreman rescued from a tunnel after nine days of being trapped in the wake of the Nepal-Tibet floods.

"I told everyone that there was a big accident on the big dam, and asked everyone to run and in the end, I ran out of time and could not run out," he said.

He was one of two people rescued from the tunnels for the hydropower projects in Nepal on Friday (Sep 4).
