There’s no royal navy to speak of anymore. So there’s that.

I've been to the Farkland Island. It's more British then London. Are there some Argentina influences? Sure. 20%. The rest 80% are British proud.

He must have someone backing behind him. Secondly, he wants to bring popularity due to his failure for the economy.

Trump wants the oil. The British don't want to drill. So trump supports the country willing to drill.

This is just a stunt from Milei. There is an election next year and he's trying to play on the argentinian national feelings of voters.
He knows there is no way Argentina can take over the Falklands. They have no real navy, the air force has 6 old F-16's purchased from Denmark that doesn't want them anymore (4 of them are 2 seaters being used for training) and the army is in despair.
Argentina is also in a very serious economic crisis so they have no money to do anything.

Nowadays... the path to a society's progress and evolution... seems to lie in destabilizing surrounding societies... in destroying their social values... or even in inciting WAR!
While neighboring societies destroy one another... another society will keep producing a full range of goods—including weapons—and selling them to those who are tearing each other apart!

The UK did not help the USA in Iran because the USA did not inform the UK of the war or what its goals were (Trump said they would topple the whole regime and help the protesters, they did neither).
The Americans did also not provide cheaper gas/oil to the UK to compensate for the rise in prices due to the war there.

In 2013 the people of Falklands voted whether to stay with Britain or join Argentina. 92% of the electors voted and 99.8% voted to stay. Maybe we should respect those who live there.

So in other words: Milei has problems at home and tries to distract Argentinians with an outside conflict.

Oldest trick in the book - except that it rarely actually worked.
