Expert: China champions global governance reform

Is the current global governance system outdated? Sudheendra Kulkarni, an aide to former Indian Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, says Western countries represent only 15% of the world's population but still dominate international decision-making. He says China is a key supporter of democratizing this system. Through its Global Governance, Development and Security Initiatives, it seeks to establish a fairer and multipolar approach that empowers the global 85%, he noted.
