During a national televised address, Milei announced plans to strengthen sanctions against companies involved in exploiting natural resources around the British-controlled islands.
He knows there is no way Argentina can take over the Falklands. They have no real navy, the air force has 6 old F-16's purchased from Denmark that doesn't want them anymore (4 of them are 2 seaters being used for training) and the army is in despair.
Argentine is also in a very serious economic crisis so they have no money to do anything.
