#Train carrying 250 passengers hits truck in #Poland

New footage has emerged of a dramatic accident in Gdańsk, northern Poland, in which a passenger train collided with a truck at a railroad crossing.

There were approximately 250 passengers on board the train. The truck driver drove onto the tracks just as the barriers began to lower.

The 42-year-old truck driver was taken to the hospital, while the train driver and several passengers underwent medical examinations at the scene. Police say both drivers were sober.
