The government has borrowed £128 billion in the last year.

We owe a total of £3 trillion.

That’s £42,000 for every man, woman and child!

We now pay more in benefits than we take in tax.

Labour Party wouldn’t even allow Starmer to slow the rate of increase in benefits, let alone cut.

Any talk of the government having £20 billion of fiscal headroom is an illusion.
Tax the millionaires. I'm sure Farage would like that ❤
Higher taxes and more borrowing would be a bad idea. Economic growth would be an excellent alternative. CANZUK could produce that. It would also support our Canadian and Australian/NZ allies and run counter to Trump. All are more likely to agree today. A shared economic and defence zone. Shared citzenship. Genuine progress. All countries have a shared history, language and culture.
I bet: another year - another PM...
Andy is a fooled man! He wanted to be involved with the Ukraine war and put the UK citizens at risk!
Just a stupid leader!
It’s fun watching the uk going down 😂😂😂😂
A major reduction to unnecessary spending is vital. The foreign aid budget will have to be slashed for start.
NATO members committing to funding WWIII 😮
Sorry buddy America is done paying for European defense even the europhile candidates aren't talking about going back to that.
Sombody buy me a new fridge freezer
Trump is pushing borrowing costs up for the UK HMG with his threats if the UK doesn't meet a certain percentage for it's NATO tribute fees.
IMF by spring.
Is it time to think a new PM will solve everything?
Most of these economy "figures" apply to already rich people roughly 10% of the population. What they're concerned about is wanting to make more profit this year than last year. Everyone else 90% of the population work and they don't care if their company shuts down they move onto working for a different company. If an ordinary person tries to set up a small business the system doesn't work for them and this is done on purpose by those rich people and companies to keep out competition. Andy seems to be shifting that dynamic around and giving ordinary people a better chance instead of being squashed below the already rich and powerful 10%. Let's see what more can be done to lift ordinary people up.
Silent on the Spanish protest. Typical propaganda network. You see what they want you to see
Burnham eats plenty of fudge
The solution is simple, tax wealth, but has he the balls to do it?
King of the North is gonna Tax the Rich. Your mistake is you assume hes the same as the Neo Cons that came before.
Doesn't make a difference, he's working for the same boss his predecessor did.
He certainly can't afford war.
No sharia law
