Ministry of Education extends university funding application deadline to 21st September, 2026

The Ministry of Education has extended the deadline for application of university funding to 21st of September, 2026. Education Cabinet Secretary Julius Ogamba announcing the 3 week extension deadline, says they will continue to receive and process applications under the current funding model as they wait for Parliament’s verdict on a new funding model. At the same time he revealed 22.12 billion shillings has already been disbursed to 789,422 universities and TVETs.
