Murkomen condemns reported abduction of journalist Alex Kiprotich

Interior and National Administration Cabinet Secretary Kipchumba Murkomen has condemned the reported abduction of Associate Editor of the Standard Group Alex Kiprotich along the Gilgil – Nakuru road terming it embarrassing and barbaric. Speaking at the St. Michael’s Secondary School Grounds in Embobut, Elgeyo Marakwet County, during the funeral service of his aunt, Mama Sokomo Chemeitoi, Murkomen called on the Inspector General of Police Douglas Kanja to ensure swift investigations and protection of the media.
