The government is raising the alarm over the growing threat of cybercrime in Kenya, as criminals increasingly exploit data breaches, leaked credentials and digital financial platforms to commit offences across borders. Principal Secretary for Internal Security and National Administration Raymond Omollo says the changing nature of cybercrime requires investigators and prosecutors to strengthen their capacity to collect, preserve and present digital evidence.
