Vusimuzi 'Cat' Matlala Trial | Musa Kekana challenges police conduct

The counsel for the alleged gunman in the attempted murder case of Vusimuzi Matlala and others, has accused police of unlawfully taking his client from hospital to the police cells.

Musa Kekana was admitted at the Edenvale Hospital under police guard after his 2024 arrest. He's currently on trial with Matlala, Nthabiseng Nzama, Tsakani Matlala, and Tiego Mabusela, for the attempted murder of socialite, Tebogo Thobejane, businessman, Joe Sibanyoni, and music producer, Seunkie Mokubung.

A trial-within-a-trial is considering Kekana's effort to have evidence obtained during his arrest, declared inadmissible.
