Two South African children trafficked to Malawi repatriated: Social Development Minister Dina Pule

Social Development Minister Dina Pule is receiving two South African children aged 9 and 15, who were trafficked across the country's borders to Malawi, starting off by saying she stands with mixed emotions as they gather to receive the two children - a case which was referred to her department by Interpol South Africa.

The trafficking allegedly involves a couple - a male Malawian national and South African women from the Eastern Cape. The two children were allegedly led to Malawi by the perpetrators with their family. The Malawian national allegedly had a romantic relationship with the mother of the children.
