UN warns that El Nino will intensify in coming months: Janet Whitton

The World Meteorological Organization has warned that El Nino will intensify into a very strong event in coming months.

Its head, Celeste Saulo, says the impacts will be felt through high rainfall and temperature patterns, and associated risks of floods, drought and extreme heat.
