Lebanon displacement crisis deepens as war uproots families and overwhelms services

Lebanon is facing a major humanitarian emergency as war has displaced around 1.2 million people, nearly one in five of the population. Families forced from their homes are struggling to access shelter, food, water, healthcare and education.

Tommaso Della Longa, the spokesperson for the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent, joins Al Jazeera and confirms that Lebanon's humanitarian crisis has reached catastrophic levels.
