'Sky school bus' in SW China eases children's journey to school

As the new semester begins, some children in southwest China are taking a school bus ride unlike any other – one that climbs sheer cliffs and crosses a canyon. In Nizhuhe, Yunnan Province, cliffside elevators and a cable car have shortened the journey to school from more than three hours to about 30 minutes. Known as the "sky school bus," it is transforming daily life in the mountains.
