i have to say in retrospect, we’re 15 years in the future and karl was absolutely right about africas charity corruption and deprivation of their commonwealth, his was so stressed after building that hut, not because he had to built the hut, but because he felt like he had not done enough, and on a trip to unwillingly want to do something he saw something that he actually wanted to accomplish. its actually quite sad and infuriating seeing that and steve and ricky brushing it off like hes moaning as always especially as karl was saying the exact opposite of what he usually says

i don't trust that guy pestering him for the money for the huts, "money hasn't been transferred yet" how much is he skimming off the top? who is gonna check to see if the huts get built?<br>the face on him when karl didn't want to put himself in danger looked to me as if it was coming out of his pocket. then obviously after hearing karl and ricky on the phone, he gets wind of how much money they might give away and all of a sudden "there are more huts over here needing built". it's not like it was pennies they were giving away.<br>i get it they don't have nearly as much and need money but it is obvious what was happening there and they are willing to use charity as the front. when i would bet the "charity" won't even see half. it's exploiting their own people!
