I'm from the US and let me tell you... I watched all of An Idiot Abroad, a few times. Karl Pilkington is one of the funniest people on this planet. I would honestly just love to hang out with him. The way his mind works... it's just brilliant. And the insights he comes up with?! No one can write that, let alone say it in the way Karl does. He is so incredibly funny. My wife said "Is that his character? How does he come up with all that?" I told her "No! That's just Karl! He's so real and hilarious!" She couldn't believe that there was someone like that. I mean, I'm a bit pessimistic but man, Karl is outstandingly priceless to the point of farcical. Dammit, I love Karl. And when Ricky and Steve chat with him... oh man. It kills me every time. This shows are literally some of the funniest things I've ever seen in my life! If Karl somehow reads this... Dude, you are fantastic. You are one of my favorite people in the world. he's got a point abt the toilets to be fair... but i think it's a cost thing? like with western loos the amount of water it takes to flush 'em needs a certain capacity in the sanitation system down line of it to be sustainable (or something like that, i can't really remember). so if they COULD have sitting loos they probably would iiuc.
