Gaza aid flotilla reports interceptions: Israel says it has begun seizing ships headed to Gaza

The Israeli military says it has begun seizing aid ships headed to Gaza. Activists on board boats in the Global Sumud flotilla say Israeli military vessels have begun interceptions. Israeli media says it seized seven out of 58 ships. The flotilla is attempting to deliver aid to Gaza in defiance of Israel's blockade of food and medicine. On April 12, a second flotilla carrying humanitarian aid sailed from Barcelona, aiming to break the Israeli blockade.
