The gospel is the good news that Christ bled and died on the cross and was resurrected on the third day and peter tells us the real truth on the day of Pentecost.....believe, repent and be baptized through water and be added to the church of Christ

Jesus is neither the Messiah of the Old Testament nor God!

From the Jewish understanding of the Hebrew Bible (the Old Testament), humanity does not need Jesus' atonement through death. This is not an alternative interpretation of history, but rather based on a belief system fundamentally different from Christian theology. The core disagreement lies in the different definitions of the three concepts: sin, atonement, and the Messiah.

📜 Core Disagreement 1: The Nature of Sin—Without "Original Sin," Why the Need for "Atonement"?

The foundation of the Christian theory of "atonement" is the concept of "original sin"—that Adam's sin is inherited by all, making humanity unable to save itself and requiring a sinless "divine being" to take its place.

· Judaism: Sin is an action, not nature

Judaism does not believe in "original sin." While Adam and Eve's disobedience did bring death to the world, it did not completely corrupt human nature. In Hebrew thought, "sin" (Ḥet) is more accurately translated as "missing the bullseye" or "mistake"—it is a correctable act, not an inescapable inherited trait.

• Consequences: One must be responsible for oneself

Therefore, everyone is directly responsible to God for their actions. As Ezekiel declares, "The son will not bear the iniquity of the father, nor the father the iniquity of the son…but the one who sins will die." This means that within the Jewish framework, it is completely unjust and lacks biblical basis for one person to die in place of another.

🙏 Core Disagreement Two: The Path to Atonement—No Blood Required, Only a "Heart"

Since sin is a transgression of conduct, the key to atonement lies not in finding an innocent "scapegoat," but in sincerely repairing the relationships between people and God, and between people themselves.

• Temple sacrifices are not the only way: Before the destruction of the Temple, animal sacrifices were one of the ritual methods of atonement, but they themselves did not possess the "magic" of forgiveness. The ritual only has meaning when the sacrificer is truly repentant.

* The Atonement System After the Destruction of the Temple: After the destruction of the Second Temple in 70 AD, Judaism developed an atonement system centered on repentance (Teshuva), prayer, and good deeds (Tzedakah). This means that long before the time of Jesus, Judaism had already established that atonement could be achieved without bloodshed. The Bible itself confirms this; for example, Leviticus 5:11-13 allows the poor to offer fine flour as a sin offering. The prophet Hosea further exclaimed, "Return to the Lord and pray with your words, saying, 'Purify my iniquity'...and offer the sacrifice of your lips instead of the calf" (Hosea 14:2).

👑 Core Disagreement Three: Who is the Messiah? — A political king, not a redeemer

Judaism does not recognize Jesus as the Messiah, fundamentally because the Messiah prophesied in the Hebrew Bible is completely different from the image of Jesus.

• The Messiah is mortal, not divine: In Judaism, "Mashiach" means "anointed one," a mortal king of flesh and blood, anointed by a prophet like King David, not a god.

• The Messiah's mission is to "establish peace," not "atone for sins": Jewish tradition holds that the true Messiah, upon his coming, must accomplish the following concrete and visible tasks:

1. Rebuild the Temple in Jerusalem;

2. Gather all Jews from all over the world back to Israel;

3. Bring a Messianic era of lasting peace to the world.

Since Jesus did not accomplish these tasks, from a Judaist perspective, he is clearly not the Messiah awaiting us.

📖 Core Disagreement Four: Interpretation of Key Scripture—Who is "Suffering"?

Scripture often used in Christianity to prove Jesus' atonement is interpreted completely differently in Jewish exegetical tradition.

• Isaiah Chapter 53—Who is the "suffering servant"?

This passage is the focal point of the disagreement between the two interpretations. Christianity interprets it as a prophecy of Jesus' Passion; while the vast majority of Jewish tradition holds that this "suffering servant" refers to the Israelites themselves. Throughout history, the Israelites have borne the mission of witnessing to the one true God, serving as "the light to the Gentiles," and have therefore endured countless sufferings—precisely the image of the servant described in the passage.

Deuteronomy 6:25—"For to us righteousness is to keep the commandments"

This verse clearly shows that "righteousness" is identity in the covenant relationship between God and humanity, which is responded to by "loving the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength" (Deuteronomy 6:5) and by obeying the law. This "righteousness" is a correctness in the relationship, which can be directly obtained through the law and does not require a mediator to fulfill it on their behalf.

💎 Summary

To understand the Jewish perspective, the key is to remember: it is not merely "Christianity without Jesus," but a self-sufficient and complete belief system.

This system centers on the one true God, emphasizes personal responsibility, reconciliation with God through sincere repentance, and waiting for a Davidic political king to bring world peace. In its core logic, Jesus' atonement violates both the principle of personal responsibility for one's sins and the description of the Messianic mission in the Hebrew Bible. Therefore, from a Judaist perspective, Jesus' substitutionary death was indeed unnecessary.

I wonder what you tell this God in your prayers and why it takes so long, Do you tell him how good he is and do you ask forgiveness for the multitude of sins you’ve committed since your past prayers?
OK that would take all of five minutes and apparently you’ll be automatically forgiven, so now you can commence sinning again until tomorrow when you can do it all again.
An easy way to pray would be to record your little prayer on a tape machine and program it to play at a certain time every day, you wouldn’t even need to be there.
The same for saying Grace, just leave your recorder on the dining table.
How easy is that?

The "Real Gospel" is God’s sovereign act of recording the names of His creation in the Book of Life and preserving them in that holy state. This message has remained unchanged from the Old Covenant to the New: the call to reject the recruitment of the adversary and side with the Creator.

1. The original intention
God created the first couple with the intention of letting them live forever. 7 And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being. 15 Then the Lord God took the man and put him in the garden of Eden to tend and keep it. 16 And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, “Of every tree of the garden you may freely eat; 17 but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die.” Genesis 2:7, 15-17 (NKJV)

2. The recruitment and separation
The ground rule was simple in the beginning: choose eternal life or autonomy, ability to make choices outside of God’s ground rules. After the first couple were created, Satan immediately embarked his recruitment and his success resulted to an explosive consequence: the first couple traded the "Tree of Life" for the knowledge of "Good and Evil", essentially choosing to draft their own laws and be like the Most High. Exactly similar to the actions of Lucifer ages ago.
13 And the Lord God said to the woman, “What is this you have done?” The woman said, “The serpent deceived me, and I ate.” Genesis 3:13 (NKJV)
17 Then to Adam He said,… 19 In the sweat of your face you shall eat bread Till you return to the ground, For out of it you were taken; For dust you are, And to dust you shall return.” Genesis 3:17-19 (NKJV)
22 Then the Lord God said, “Behold, the man has become like one of Us, to know good and evil. And now, lest he put out his hand and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live forever” 24 So He drove out the man; and He placed cherubim at the east of the garden of Eden, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to guard the way to the tree of life. Genesis 3:17-19 (NKJV)
*12 “How you are fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning!... 13 For you have said in your heart:
‘I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God; 14 I will ascend above the heights of the clouds, I will be like the Most High.’ Isaiah 14:12-14 (NKJV)*

3. The acceptance standard of the kingdom
Sin is not merely a mistake; it is a political act of Lawlessness. The one who sins adopts the nature of the Devil, who has rejected God’s ground rules, and thereby effectively joining the rebellious forces. Obviously, God doesn’t want creations who possess this kind of behavior become a permanent part of his universe.
4Whoever commits sin also commits lawlessness, and sin is lawlessness. 8He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil. 1 John 3:4,8 (NKJV)

4. The Book of Life: Ultimate ledger of entrants
The Bible reveals that God maintains a census of His Kingdom. The names written there will escape the second death, meaning they will continue to live. The ones blotted out will be meted with the lake of fire.
33 And the Lord said to Moses, “Whoever has sinned against Me, I will blot him out of My book. Exodus 32:32-33 (NKJV)
14 Then Death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. 15And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire. Revelation 20:14-15 (NKJV)

5. The Call to Arms
With the Gospel being a change of allegiance, it naturally involves a struggle. That’s what humans are warned of, only that they are not fighting people. They are resisting the "recruitment" tactics of a fallen spiritual hierarchy. 11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of [c]the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Ephesians 6:11-12 (NKJV)

While the Bible is a collection of diverse stories, it has a single, recurring main theme: (1) Choose to become a permanent part of God’s universe while playing under his ground rules (God preserves your name in His Book), or (2) Join the forces of the "lawless one" and have your name blotted out. That’s the Real Gospel: it is God’s invitation to stay written in the Book of Life by resisting the darkness and standing firm in the Light. This gospel hasn’t change from the old covenant to the new covenant. It remains to be the same since time immemorial.

The gospel is the "good news" about Jesus Christ, specifically that God's love sent him to die for humanity's sins, was resurrected, and offers salvation and eternal life to those who believe. The Gospel is clearly explained in I Corinthians 15:1-4. It is the Death, Burial and Resurrection of Jesus.
ALL the conversions in the book of Acts follow the same pattern:
They heard the Gospel message, they believed it, they repented of their sins, confessed Jesus as the Christ, the Son of the Living God,
AND were immersed in water for the forgiveness of their sins.
They were NOT saved at the point of believing. Even the demons believe. James 2:19
They were NOT saved at the point of repentance or confession.
They WERE saved as they were raised up from the watery grave.
I Peter 3: 21b God waited patiently in the days of Noah while the ark was being built. In it [the ark] only a few people, eight in all, were saved through water, 21and this water symbolizes baptism that now saves you also—not the removal of dirt from the body but the pledge of a clear conscience toward God.
Baptism is NOT just a symbol; it is the moment we are saved.
You do not "join the church of your choice;" God adds you to the church which Christ established. Acts 2:47
Romans 16:16 All the churches of Christ send greetings.

I have not gone beyond the question at 1:26 yet but here goes. The gospel is never preached at church but occasionally it does come up in private conversations outside of church. God created the gospel yet many church goers don't know the gospel. They cannot share the truth because they never study the orthodox New Testament. I believe most people want the rituals and the ceremonies far more than a relationship with the living GOD.

Thank you, brother RC, Rest in the loving embrace of our Lord Jesus until he brings you back to be with us once again in the clouds in the resurrection of those that sleep in Jesus and the catching up of the saints that still live unto himself. Then we will all be together, the Bride of Christ with our Lord and Savior forever. Wherever He is, there we will be also.

RC Sproul has been my preacher for years he has helped me through many rough times in my life. And has taught me deep truths from scripture. I like the way he digs in with expository teaching that you don't get from a lot of preachers or teachers. It's quality teaching! Great heart for our Father and God's Word.

1 Corinthians 11:1-16...Why Must Men Not Wear A Veil Or Head Covering And Why Must Women Wear A Veil Or Head Covering Whenever They Pray? What Are The Main Points?

*

They are all the doctrines, teachings, traditions and ordinances from GOD. [Verse 2]

*

The man is to not wear a veil or head covering and a woman is to wear a veil or head covering because of the Creation Order and GODS Headship Authority Order or following the proper chain of Command from GOD. [Verse 3]

*

Every man is to pray or prophesy with his head Uncovered or Unveiled in order to Honor our LORD and CHRIST, our HOLY SPIRIT and GOD our Heavenly FATHER. [Verse 4]

*

Every woman is to pray or prophesy with her head Veiled or her head covered in order to Honor GOD and man. [Verse 5]

*

It is Shameful and Dishonorable for every woman to have short hair or shorn or a shaved head and to pray to our LORD and GOD with her head Unveiled or uncovered. [Verse 6]

*

Every man indeed ought not to cover or veil his head whenever he prays, because he is the image and glory of GOD. [Verse 7]

*

Every woman must veil or cover her head, because she is the glory of the man [Verse 7] and the woman is of the man or she originally originated from man. [Verse 8]

*

Every woman must wear a veil or covering whenever she prays, because the woman was created for the man. [Verse 9]

*

Every woman ought to have authority on her head by wearing a veil or a removable head covering as a Symbol or a Sign of a woman being in Submission to GOD’S Authority and man. [Verse 10]

*

Every woman must wear a veil or a head covering, Because of the Angels. [Verse 10]

*

A woman must wear a veil or head covering because it is her Propriety in Worship. [Verse 13] [Verses 1 Corinthians 11:1-16 & 1 Corinthians 14:26-40.]

*

Wearing a veil or head covering is Using Proper Judgment...Judge for yourselves; is it right that a woman pray to GOD unveiled? No! It is Not right for a woman to pray to GOD with her head Unveiled or Uncovered...Period! [Verse 13]

*

Nature's Teaching...even Nature itself teaches you that if man has long hair, then it is a Shame to him. So in the same line of reasoning then if a woman has Short Hair then wouldn’t her short hair also be a Shame or Shameful to her? Also did our GOD ever say that medium hair length was acceptable and honorable for a woman? [Verse 14]

[Also, Luke 12:7 and Matthew 10:30, GOD Knows the Number of Hairs on each person's head. Luke 12:7 But the very Hairs of your head are All Numbered. Matthew 10:30 But the very Hairs of your head are All Numbered.]

*

All women should have Long Hair, because her Long Hair is a glory to her and Long Hair is given to her for A covering (or another head covering). [Verse 15]

*

Every woman is Required to have Two (2) Head Coverings. Long Hair all the time, for this is her natural covering and a Veil or a removable head covering, and she Only needs to wear it whenever she Prays to GOD or Prophesies. Whenever a woman is reading the book of Prophecies or rather the Holy Bible, then should her head be Veiled? Should a man have his head covered whenever he reads from the Holy Bible? Something to think about.

*

The wearing of the required veil or head covering is a commandment from GOD. [Verses 1-16]

*

GOD, the Apostles and all the churches of GOD have no such custom of women praying or prophesying to GOD with their heads Unveiled and they have no such custom of men praying or prophesying to GOD with their heads veiled or covered. [Verse 16]
