Ive been with the DoD for almost 30 years now, around all four branches and the guys love this president and the Sec Def. This guy looks like he’s been gone for at least 20 years, and not in the mix with the guys. There was a lot of BS they got rid of that was from Biden and Obama that nobody liked as far as policy, and the guys at the top pushing it got canned. Thats not bad- thats just the way it goes. Every administration does it, this one is no different. People just get more airtime complaining now because of social media. Thats all it is. I think its important to remember that we are not in the room when decisions are made and the reason for them. Its easy to criticize behind a screen and keyboard because we see only what they allow us to see. Some of us are on the inside and see the results of these actions, some good, some bad, but even then its only a fraction of the master plan because it takes a minimum of two years to come down the pipe before we see the effects. Especially when it comes to cuts and funding. Look, we are the biggest economy in the world, and strongest military the world has ever known- we are America….land of the free and brave…and I love my country and so do guys I served with and continue to serve with today. If we can agree we love our country, we will all be fine no matter who is running the ship because usually they do too. So relax, dont be so divided on everything- propaganda is alive and well, and there are real enemies out there that want us all dead just for being free and they dont care who you voted for. Remember that. We are Americans before we are anything else, dont forget that, try and see the bigger picture, and dont get caught up in the partisan nuances of how to win the race when we are going to finish it regardless.
