Andy Burnham’s first PMQs: Badenoch challenges Labour leader on debt and defence

UK Prime Minister Andy Burnham has faced his first Prime Minister’s Questions in Parliament, with the session dominated by questions over government spending, national debt and defence.

Opposition Leader Kemi Badenoch challenged Burnham over his government’s fiscal plans, calling for greater clarity on debt reduction and defence spending.

Burnham defended his government’s approach, stressing fiscal responsibility and the need to reduce debt.

Outside Westminster, climate activists from Just Stop Oil staged a protest against North Sea oil drilling. Several people were arrested, according to the report.
