It's not a miracle even though it's not happen often because it's not everyday someone will get strike by lighting. The phenomenon is called flashover. When your body is soaked with rain water when the lighting strike, the electrical current will travel downwards towards your outside body to the ground instead of your internal organs. Well in physics the umbrella is part of what it happen too. Make no mistakes, holding an umbrella in thunderstorm weather will make you more vulnerable to lighting strikes 😅
