😢 Imagine how many billions of valuable flora & fauna perished in these natural & man made peat fires 🔥 🚒 ... Every years same old stories keep destroying our mother earth. Their government just don't bother and corruption creating wildfire and farmers still continue slash and burn after harvesting. One day their country will be like barren deserts totally no more farming. Just fed up with problems.

How does a fire of this scale start? How does it manage to stay burning all this time? Borneo sits right on the equator. Humidity is high. The dense forests is damp on the forest floor. How do the flames go to this width and height to have this whole island (the third largest island in the world and the only tropical of the top 3) under fire and smog. This needs a clear explanation.
