By making this purchase Germany has invested in a genocidal nation of settlers thereby staining their hands in the blood of all the innocents (children) that have perished at the hands of the Israelis. It's like in the German DNA to always be on the wrong side of history, why? Why do you choose and keep such foolish leaders? Why?

Relying on Israel is as bad as relying on US. As usual, DW invites a biased "expert". Rasmussen Global was founded by a former NATO head. It is now run by another NATOist Fabrice Pothier, who was once a Macronist European candidate.

Firstly the declared maximum range of any missile system is almost always below its actual range.

Secondly, Germany will be producing Iron Dome interceptors in a VW factory soon, which suggests that it will be using that system as well at some point.

Thirdly the LORA is combat tested. It took out the Iranian S-300 system in Iran from a stand off distance already.

And fourth - the system is mature and available. How much would it cost Germany to develop one alone? And if it takes on an EU partner, by the time it is decided which country gets the contract for the coffee machines in the factory, Europeans could be speaking Russian already.

Fifth: Germany already bought the Israeli Arrow 3 system to intercept ballistic missiles in space, which is not only protecting Germany presumably.

Smart move by Germany in this case.

Stop talking about USA rescuing or defending Europe... Stop parroting TWISTED facts! IT IS MAL INFORMATION!

The reality is and has always been that since WW2 USA has kept some troops in Europe to PREVENT war, not defend or rescue or blablabla PREVENT. A bit similar to UN peacekeepers...

The other reason they have kept soldiers in Europe is to project power around Europe.

The rest of Europe will never need or has ever needed to be protected/defended from Russia, but Europe has needed someone to make sure we do not start wars(This failed now that the war in Ukraine started, this almost failed when Serbia took out their revenge on Kosovo. Yes they do have a history that started before modern times, like we all do in Europe and that is why its so easy for wars to start because borders and people have been moved so often.).

So once again PREVENT and it was paid by Europe letting USA project power from within Europe on the surroundings.

Its a bit like calling a Condom and Abortion for those not understanding the difference. One prevents an unwanted accident and the other one deals with the accident.

My point is that you would not go out into schools teaching young people to use Abortion as prevention, so don't even try to say they are the same.

What is interesting is the German-Israeli-Ukraine Axis. Arms deliveries to Ukraine via Germany, Missiles, capable of striking Russia, made by Israel, delivered by Germany. When Ukraine is at war with Russia and Germany-Israel supplies them arms, then Germany-Israel have entered the war with Russia....So Russia has Germany-Israel as legitimate wartime targets already. Declaration of war, without naming it directly.
