Wouldn't this just be called murder? Do we really need a separate category for each gender? If we do, we're gonna need a lot more categories because some say there are over 200 difference genders, just saying.

I also want to say that living now in this world as a single woman, I have gotten increasing amounts of aggression by men towards me. Much rage and anger, not provoked. As if I, as a woman, had no right to be self-sufficient. Raising my daughter alone, I became the target of a hate crime because I was working and providing. Was it easy? For everyone disagreeing with their message:<br><br>When it gets to the point where women and children are disproportionately killed and targeted, what else do we call it? This is bringing awareness. nobody is stating that&#39;s only girls/women are being killed. Instead, it&#39;s highlighting that women and girls are in fact being targeted and killed at an alarming rate.

PLEASE don&#39;t adopt &quot;white&quot; people&#39;s ideas, feminism, gender wars or the like... It doesn&#39;t work in their society and it WILL DO WORSE DAMAGE IN YOUR SOCIETY. Killing a woman because she is a woman, then why is he not killing women outside of his house?

A similar case happened in Pakistan. A successful, thirty year old woman was killed, was found hanging with her hands tied behind her. <br>In India, a sixteen year old girl was r@ped and killed in a bus. A dalit girl committed suicide because she was bullied for her caste. A dalit PhD scholar was made to scrub floors because of her caste. <br>The world is becoming more and more dangerous for women daily.

I am in total disagreement with reducing the killing of the mother simply because she was a woman. Come on! Are we really this shallow? Do better. Stop simply pandering to the West’s narrative. So many women in the US are killed by their spouses , do they simply say oh she was killed because she’s a woman. Stop this nonsense. Yes a woman was murdered. There is a bigger underlying issue that needs to be addressed in the country and how the men are brought up than by simply trivializing to a woman being killed is solely because of her gender.

So the husband murdered his wife in a homicide. So he is a murderer. Very much not good. But making a elevated claim that she was killed specifically because of her gender requires evidence and even then it would still be a subgroup of homicide and not a new category. Otherwhise you&#39;re asserting male homicide victims are somehow worth less? In fact you already do: You show someone who wants to fund help for women specifically and refuses to help against murder.

Because it&#39;s simply a horrible homicide.
