Target to halve road fatalities by 2030

Transport Minister, Barbra Creecy, has set a target to halve road fatalities by 2030.

This follows a 9% decline in fatalities this year, compared to last year's 6% drop.
Creecy has addressed the Road Safety Practitioners Colloquium in Boksburg, Ekurhuleni.

The event, themed 'Strengthening Road Safety through Collaboration, Innovation, and Accountability', aims to develop a national road map for reducing road fatalities.
