Ad Hoc Committee | Division over President Ramaphosa’s response to written questions

The Ad Hoc Committee investigating allegations of criminal infiltration, corruption and political interference in the country's justice system, has hit a stumbling block over how to reflect President Cyril Ramaphosa's evidence in its fourth draft report.

The committee had agreed that the President would first respond to written questions, after which members would decide whether they were satisfied, or whether he should give oral evidence.

But that follow-up deliberation never happened.
