tRUMP is trying to set the military up for another coup attempt as well as voter suppression in the mid-terms because he knows the moment he is out of the majority he will be impeached and then and once he is no longer president he will be indicted and put in jail for the rest of his life!<br>This also extends to his crime family in that they have nearly all been involved in either blatantly illegal activities or mostly illegal activities both foreign and domestic.<br>I truly believe that this administration starting at the very top will end up being the most corrupt presidency that this nation or possibly any other nation has ever experienced.<br>I also believe that tRUMP will attempt to defect to another country possibly Russia or China. I am guessing Russia with the assistance of China.<br>Why do you think he has been so insistent about this plane and how it&#39;s outfitted regarding its defenses.<br>It would be interesting though if he would attempt to defect what our military would or would not do to ensure that he doesn&#39;t sell our national security secrets which I believe is his retirement plan because he knows the United States will freeze his entire financial assets so the only money he would have is what would be issued to him in the selling of our nations secrets.

Just to Peter, US Army is a big machine. Big machines move slowly it&#39;s a heavy lift. From asshole to elbow the message is received pretty slowly, so I mean, when you&#39;re talking about rewiring an institutional service that takes usually more than a generation. I mean, translating the Army and other services into turn of the century combat readiness began in earnest in the late eighties and didn&#39;t really reach fruition until forces were leaving Iraq... and in between, we saw mass of bases closed, redundant forces and equipment retired at great pains... I&#39;m not making excuses for anybody but, are we really looking to performatively invite on our own forces what we have seen in Ukraine? Is that how we want to project and how we want to be forced to fight? We need to nullify those capacities, rather than adopting them... I just don&#39;t think we needed to see this conflict in Ukraine to have stolid enough motivation to make necessary changes, to precipitate those and to predict trends in the battlefield... it&#39;s been bloodletting at its worst. My attitude has always been, even in the IED war in either Afghanistan or Iraq, there was modest decorum... and maybe there is the argument to suggest the same is true in Ukraine even so, nobody wants to invite total war, total war takes no prisoners, has, no decorum.

One idea of a democracy is that you have a number of people all working together to manage the country, collectively and when there is a disagreement on what direction to head in or what action to take, a public discourse occurs and the decision is made. But when you look at the current members of the US leadership, in the Congress and in the Senate, and even members of the supreme Court, you see a unified group of cowardly, immoral, and spineless people who are going along with the convicted felon, sex offender, and pathological/psychotic liar who is making world impacting mistakes and they are saying, doing nothing, other than what trump says they can do. Even during the Nixon era, the members of Nixon&#39;s own party had the moral compass and the spine to resist Nixon&#39;s clearly illegal and immoral actions. These &quot;Maggots&quot; (maga)who run under the banner of republicans are the worst that humanity has ever produced. My wonder is how can so many people embrace, defend and even lie for such a degenerate human being? Are we looking at a confederate type of situation all over again where half the country embraced the cruel, depraved idea of enslaving another human being and the other half knew how evil, cruel and sick that position was? You need generals that are experts in logistics because armies have to eat and have munitions to fire at an enemy. You also need tactical geniuses that can catch the enemy off guard. During the first gulf war general Schwarzkopf used America&#39;s Allied forces and a small part of the U.S. forces to pin the Iraqi army in place and had diversionary attacks to confuse Iraqi commanders. Then sent the bulk of the U.S. armour in a right hook and caught the Iraqis elite revolutionary guard corp by surprise and smash them. Today America has Pete Hegseth what could go wrong?
