The prosecution did not do a good job in jury selection, if it's taking this long to convict her of the crimes she has committed. It may be a hung jury and retrial if they are deadlock. She will have another day in court and hopefully smarter jurors will be selected.

It is fully understandable that these jurors will not reach a unanimous decision. They have sat through all the horrible details and some will feel nothing but outrage towards the mother for what she did to her children, while some are able to find compassion for the mother whose mental issues were never properly dealt with! It’s a tragedy that didn’t need to happen. What I also think is disgusting is those that feel they have the right to judge someone else for not having the same opinion as them!
This is terrible for women. If she is innocent you could view this as women can not help themselves. Think about it. Divorse where a woman has a newborn. Does she need to be evaluated to make sure she is safe alone with the child?<br><br>Any medical job or job with kids. Woman has a kid. I do not understand this Judge. He is forcing these people to make a conclusion when this same body of people have been deadlocked, twice! There is something deeply wrong with Judges in America. He is forcing an outcome. Letting the jury go home for a night seems unconstitutional. Yes, by all means your jury can’t complete a verdict, so let them go home, be influenced by all they are not suppose to be influenced by and come back with a forced vote. This judge should be removed from the bench for quite a number of legitimate mistakes. A jury is suppose to be one more woman than a man because that would be a jury of her peers. This is all completely unethical in the strongest terms. I have no opinion of her guilt or innocence, but if the jury can’t come to any conclusion it is a mistrial! Can someone inform the judge of his many mistakes?
