Ramaphosa's bid for Section 89 Panel Report review

President Cyril Ramaphosa has told the Western Cape High Court that an impeachment process against him is nothing more than the political equivalent of a criminal trial.

This was his counsel's opening argument in his application to have the Section 89 Panel report reviewed, and set aside.

They argued that those pushing for the report to be upheld are not seeking justice, but rather fighting a political war through the court, and Parliamentary processes.
