Ethekon warns politicians to desist from attacking IEBC

Key Stakeholders in the electoral system are raising the alarm over the increasing cases of electoral violence witnessed across the country ahead of the 2027 General Election. Speaking during a high-level security meeting with the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission in Nairobi, the stakeholders warned that the worrying trend reported in Homa Bay, Nakuru, Bomet, and Migori counties bears similarities to the patterns that preceded the 2007/2008 post-election violence.
