What is really tragic, so often ppl hear of floods and still ppl don't adhere to those warnings with a storm nearby and next to a wateway....now they are going to blame that there were no sirens or warnings going off. Monsoon season and flash floods are a regular occurrence. The severity is going to increase because of drought, fires, and data centers drying out places that held water. We are in an El Niño year to top it, so storms are carrying much more water. You are warned, stop planning regular activities and vacations without considering. <br>I remember a girl going to my town in Sedona wanting to hike where there's no signal in the middle of triple digit weather and Monsoon season, she got so mad at me for recommending against it or waiting for a time of day where there are more people so she's not alone. She treated me like I was a controlling monster because she's an "experienced hiker" .... STORIES like this are a regular out there, I stand by my warning. don't be a statistic

I was there and it was cloudy and I seen hikers going down there. Then bout hour later it started sprinkling then it started raining like a monsoon n everyone ran to there cars Driving out it was hailing Didn’t realize it was this bad. Until got out of town and seen the news next day
