Matlala attempted murder case delayed to 30 June

The new attorney representing the alleged gunman in the attempted murder case against Vusimuzi 'Cat' Matlala and four others, has told the High Court in Johannesburg that his client is yet to pay his legal fees in full.

Matlala, his wife Tsakani Matlala, and two others, have appeared in court on charges of attempted murder.

This is in relation to the botched assassination attempts on Matlala's former partner, Tebogo Thobejane, in 2023, businessman Joe Sibanyoni in 2022, and music producer Seunkie Mokubung in 2024.

The case has been postponed to the 30th of June.
