#WATCH | SP Sharma, Chief Economist, ASSOCHAM India, projects that India–UK bilateral trade could more than double from around $58 billion to $120 billion by 2030 following the implementation of the Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA).
He highlighted significant growth potential in sectors such as footwear, made-ups, auto parts, processed food, marine products and transportation-related goods, supported by lower tariffs and zero-duty market access.
He also underlined new opportunities in services, emerging technologies, innovation, education and professional mobility, describing the agreement as a win-win for both economies.
