Rwanganga residents demand justice for a 13-year-old girl defiled by mother's lover

Residents of Rwanganga village in Kigumo constituency, Murang’a County are demanding justice for a 13-year-old girl who was allegedly defiled and impregnated. According to the residents the authorities failed to act in time despite repeated reports of the girls woes. They are now demanding the arrest and prosecution of the perpetrators. The mother of the teenager has since been picked up by police for questioning amid claims her lover was responsible for defiling and impregnating her.
