The hantavirus-affected cruise ship MV Hondius arrived off the Port of Granadilla on the Spanish island of Tenerife early Sunday.
In an interview with CGTN, Boris Pavlin, the team lead for field and humanitarian epidemiology at the World Health Organization (WHO), detailed the hantavirus outbreak on the cruise ship, stating that it is not a new virus and that its transmission risk is limited. #hantavirus #worldhealthorganization
