PM Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana Supports Family During Difficult Times

#WATCH | Ratnakar Karluke, a resident of Andori village in Wardha district, shared how the Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana provided crucial financial support to his family during a difficult time.

His wife, late Aruna Karluke, was actively associated with women’s savings groups and had enrolled in the scheme. Following her passing in September 2025 after a prolonged illness, the family faced significant financial stress due to medical expenses and loans taken during treatment.

With the support of bank officials, the family received the ₹2 lakh insurance claim smoothly. The amount helped repay loans, while the remaining funds are being used for their daughters’ education and essential household needs.
