Cold front expected to bring more rain and strong winds

Severe weather continues to lash parts of the Garden Route and Eastern Cape after an Orange Level 8 warning triggered flooding, evacuations and road closures in areas including Knysna and George.

Emergency teams remain on high alert as damaged infrastructure, flooded roads and rising river levels continue to affect communities.

And while conditions may ease in some areas, another cold front is expected to bring more rain and strong winds into the new week.
